The first motorcycle was invented in 1885 by German inventors Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach. During that time, there was no concept of safety and protection as few people got the privilege to ride it. However, with time motorcycles underwent a period of change and new bikes with better construction, fuel economy, speed, reliability and dynamic, etc. were manufactured. They were available at economical prices, so almost everyone seems to afford it. This led to an increase in the bike riders on the road and with that the accident rate as well. Research conducted showed that 73% of bike accidents cause severe injuries, while around 5% are fatal. To overcome this issue, motorcycle manufacturers started emphasizing on wearing motorcycle jackets and other protective gears.
